Below are several high quality surveillance photographs taken from this morning's robbery of BancFirst, 809 Cornell Parkway (near I-40 and Meridian), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The same individual is believed responsible for the January 22, 2009 robbery of Bank of America, 5101 S. Sheridan, Tulsa, Oklahoma. On both robberies, he fled in a green Dodge Minivan, possibly a Caravan model. In the Tulsa robbery, the vehicle had a Missouri license tag. The individual responsible for this robbery today may be passing $2 bills or mutilated money received from the robbery.
For information, today at 9:01 a.m., an unidentified white male entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. The robber said he was armed, but did not display a weapon. He gathered the money in a white plastic grocery style sack and exited the bank traveling west on foot. He is believed to have entered a green Dodge minivan, possibly a Caravan, which was parked on the south side of the hotel directly east of the bank. According to a witness, the green van turned north on Meridian and west onto I-40.
The robber was described as a white male, 5'8" tall, late 30's to mid-40's, bald on top with short hair on the sides, medium build, wearing prescription glasses with a black wired frame, black jacket with a gray shirt underneath and blue jeans.
A reward of up to $2000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for anyone with information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for robbing a member bank.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24 hour number).
The investigation is being conducted by the Oklahoma City Police Department and the FBI.
