Robbery of Chase Bank
Below are three photographs taken from this morning's robbery of Chase Bank, 12324 N. May, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Today at approximately 11:44 a.m., a lone black male entered Chase Bank, calmly approached the teller and provided a demand note. He gathered the money in a white bag and exited the bank on foot. He traveled east of the bank where he dropped the bag containing the money. The robber continued east through the parking lot and ran behind a stockade fence.
A white Honda accord driven by a separate black male was seen fleeing the parking lot area after the bank robber was seen there. That vehicle traveled east on NW 122nd Street.
The robber was described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5'10" to 6"0", 170 to 180 pounds, with a short beard. He was wearing a brown long sleeved button down shirt with some burgundy and with pin stripes, designer blue jeans, brown leather loafers with square toes, a brown knit hat and sunglasses.
The investigation is being conducted by the FBI and Oklahoma City Police Department. If anyone has any information regarding the robbery, please contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24 hour number).
A reward of up to $2000
is being offered by the Oklahoma Banker's Association for information leading
to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible
for the robbery.
