OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael B. Ward, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the FBI is inviting representatives of the media outlets from the Oklahoma City metropolitan area to the FBI Media Open House, this Thursday, March 13, at 6:00 p.m., at the Oklahoma City Division of the FBI, 3301 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Each of the supervisors responsible for the various programs within the FBI will make brief presentations. Special Agent in Charge Michael B. Ward will provide an overview of the FBI.
Presentations will be made in areas many may not be aware that the jurisdiction falls under the FBI, or areas not often mentioned by the FBI including Foreign Counterintelligence, International Terrorism, Domestic Terrorism, Civil Rights, Public Corruption, Cyber Crimes, White Collar Crime, and Criminal Enterprise Investigations. Also discussed will be the FBI’s new initiative to gather, analyze and disseminate intelligence, called the Field Intelligence Group.
Presentations will be completed around 8:30 p.m. At that time, SAC Ward and the supervisors will be available for individual discussions and on camera interviews if desired.
