OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael B. Ward, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the arrest of J. Alan Sitsler, 23, of Pryor, Oklahoma, related to the December 12, 2007 robbery of Bank of America in Catoosa.
On December 12, a white male entered Bank of America, 1801 N. Highway, Catoosa, Oklahoma, and provided a teller a demand note. A weapon was seen in the waistband of the robber.
Based on a tip provided to Catoosa Police Department, Sitsler was identified as the possible robber. He was arrested at approximately 11:30 a.m. this morning by the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.
The investigation was conducted by the Catoosa Police Department, Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI. Assistance was provided by the Pryor and Chouteau Police Department’s.
Sitsler was charged this afternoon in the Northern District of Oklahoma with Federal Bank Robbery.
