OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael B. Ward, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the FBI is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Timothy Dewayne Johnson, aka Flat Face, 27, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2005, the FBI, TPD, DEA and IRS-CID began investigating a Tulsa Police Department (TPD) records clerk who was suspected of providing confidential police information on active investigations to criminal suspects.
The investigation also revealed that a TPD detective assigned to the Special Investigations Division had been providing drug dealers with sensitive law enforcement information.
The TPD detective, Rico Yarbrough, and the records clerk, DeShon Stanley, were arrested in February 2006. In September 2006, Yarbrough was convicted at trial for conspiracy to obstruct justice and later sentenced to 44 months in Federal prison. Stanley pled guilty in February 2007 to conspiracy to release information out of the TPD records division along with other charges.
On August 13, 2007, Johnson was Indicted in the Northern District of Oklahoma for violation of Title 21, Section 846, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of 5 kilograms or more of cocaine and 50 grams of cocaine base. A Federal warrant was issued for Johnson’s arrest. Johnson has been seen in the Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Norman areas.
Johnson is considered to be armed and dangerous and is believed to always carry a pistol. The investigation is being conducted by the FBI, TPD, DEA and IRS-CID.
