OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael B. Ward, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the arrest James Edward Vaughn, 44, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, related to the June 11 robbery of Focus Federal Credit Union.
Based on a tip, Vaughn was identified as a suspect of the June 11, 2008, robbery of Focus Federal Credit Union, 1704 S. First Street, Chickasha, Oklahoma.
At 12:15 p.m. today, Vaughn was located by FBI Agents at a hotel located in the 4800 block of South I-35 Service Road. He was arrested without incident at that location.
Vaughn was charged today in the Western District of Oklahoma for violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2113, Federal Bank Robbery.
The investigation into the robbery was conducted by the FBI, Chickasha Police Department and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
