OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael B. Ward, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, and Michael McCoy, Special Agent in Charge, Bureau of Indian Affairs in Oklahoma, announced there will be a press conference on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, to reveal a major enhancement to improve the reporting and investigation into crimes that occur on tribal land in Oklahoma.

The press conference will be held at the Oklahoma City Division of the FBI, 3301 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The press conference will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Scheduled to speak are SAC Michael B. Ward, SAC Michael McCoy, and U.S. Attorney John C. Richter, Western District of Oklahoma. Other speakers may include, depending on their availability, the U.S. Attorney’s for the other two districts in Oklahoma (or their representatives).
