OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael B. Ward, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the arrest of Darrin Ted Gilbert, 38, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, related to alleged production of child pornography.

This morning at approximately 6:30 a.m., Gilbert was arrested without incident by the FBI and Sulphur Police Department at his residence in Sulphur.

Gilbert was charged yesterday per a Criminal Complaint in the Eastern District of Oklahoma for Violation of Title 18, Section 2251, Sexual Exploitation of Children. The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Sulphur Police Department. The investigation was initiated in May 2007 following information provided to the FBI by Sulphur Police Department.

Gilbert was transported to Muskogee this morning and is expected to appear in Federal Court today.
