WOODWARD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO DEALING METH

 

Oklahoma City, OK—MICHAEL KELVIN DOUGLAS, 53, of Woodward, Oklahoma, has pled guilty in federal court to three counts of distribution of methamphetamine and one count of possession with intent to distribute meth, announced John C. Richter, United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma.  At sentencing, Douglas faces a minimum of five years and a maximum of 40 years in federal prison, in addition to a maximum of a $2,000,000 fine. A sentencing hearing will be set by the Court in approximately 90 days.

This case is a result of an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.  The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Edward J. Kumiega.
