CITY MAN TO SERVE 135 MONTHS IN FEDERAL PRISON FOR SEX TRAFFICKING OF MINOR Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - John C. Richter, United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma, announced that IRISH LEVON WOODS (a/k/a “Ivo”), 23, of Oklahoma City, was sentenced today to serve 135 months in federal prison for sex trafficking of a minor by transporting a child under 18 years old from Oklahoma City to Amarillo, Texas, with the intent to engage in prostitution. Woods was ordered to serve 5 years of supervised release following his release from prison. The exploitation of the minor began when the child was lured to Virginia by Woods and worked as a prostitute for Woods in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Texas. Woods was indicted in March and pled guilty in April of 2008 to transporting the child from Oklahoma City to Amarillo, Texas, for the purpose of prostitution. The case was the result of an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma City Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Sanford C.
